What is a Collab?
"Collab" is short for "collaboration." Basically, it means I only do part of the work on that particular piece. This usually involves me adding color or texture to someone else's linework.
Please note: I will NOT simply color someone else's work for a fee! That's like getting paid to color in a coloring book: not only is it unethical, it's illegal, and it additionally makes me VERY uncomfortable.
If you would like me to collaborate with you, I will agree in a heartbeat! If you commissioned a partial image, or received one as a gift from someone else, I'll collaborate on that, too. However, I ask that you link me to the original submission (or at least the original artist) so that I can receive written permission from the piece's originator stating that it's okay for me to finish it. This is both a legal issue and pure common courtesy.
What Does a Collab Commission Cost?
Collabs in any style cost:
- $7 for digital.
- $8 for graphite.
- $8 for pen-and-ink.
- $10 for Prismacolor colored pencil.
If you would like me to mail you the original of a traditional piece, please add $2 S&H within the US and Canada and $5 worldwide.
Please see the Commission Contact page to order a collab.
What Do DAS's Collabs Look Like?
Obviously, all of my collabs are going to look different, because I collaborated with a different artist for each one. Names below the images are those of the artists with whom I did each collaboration.
Types and examples of collabs include:

- Is there another collaboration I've done that you think is different or special? Feel free to include a link to it when commissioning and tell me what you like about it! I'll try to emulate that in your commission!
- Is there another style of collab that someone else has drawn that you'd like me to try for your commission? Let me know! I'll see what I can do.
