Color Commissions

What is a Color Commission?

Color commissions are fully completed, drawn, inked, colored and shaded pieces, whether created through digital means, traditional, or some combination thereof.

What Does a Color Commission Cost?

Color pieces in any style cost:

  • $10 for oekaki.
  • $15 for digital.
  • $17 for Crayola colored pencil.
  • $20 for Prismacolor colored pencil.

Extra characters in a piece are $2 each for oekaki; $5-$8 each for digital, Crayola; $6-$10 each for Prismacolor. (Variable prices dependent on complexity.)

If you would like me to mail you the original of a traditional piece, or the traditional beginnings of a partly-digital piece, please add $2 S&H within the US and Canada and $5 worldwide.

Please see the Commission Contact page to order a color piece.

What Do DAS's Color Pieces Look Like?

Types and examples of color works include:

  • Oekaki - These images are done entirely in an "oekaki" online digital drawing program, for example ShiPainter. Usually done all in one sitting.
Icha Oekaki: WUT ITADAKIMASU
  • Digital - Works (at least) colored through digital means, including SAI painter, Photoshop, Flash, and openCanvas.
Foxy Lady -Clink-
  • Crayola - My original method of pencil color; combination of Crayola, RoseArt, and PENTEC colored pencils.
Sweet Birthday Greetings Neko to Kitsune
  • Prismacolor - Colored using high-quality Prismacolor colored pencils. Price for these is higher because of the higher level of detail, greater amount of time taken, and costliness of the material.

  • Is there another color work I've drawn that you think is different or special? Feel free to include a link to it when commissioning and tell me what you like about it! I'll try to emulate that in your commission!
  • Is there another style of color work that someone else has drawn that you'd like me to try for your commission? Let me know! I'll see what I can do.
