History
Sauda was born to a sheikh and his favorite female of a small pride toward the south of the Kalahari desert. As one of only seven cubs from a five year period to survive the various trials of the desert, she was very well-taken-care-of by her pride, almost to the point of being spoiled. All of the cubs were treated this way, however, so rather than feeling she was getting special treatment, Sauda took the level of care as normal.
Sauda was an adolescent when she met her future mate, Bijan, at a watering hole common to several prides and rogue groups of lions. Never having been one to be overly cautious, given that her family was cautious for her, Sauda quickly took up with the male. It took little effort on his part to convince her to leave her pride and join him in a nomadic life.
After a good deal of this fairly lonesome wandering, Bijan came up with the idea of infiltrating prides and rogue groups for the purposes of manipulation. Sauda took to this idea, and its execution, fairly quickly, and the two have since become quite the formidable tag-team of destruction.
Personality
Upon first meeting, the common descriptor given to Sauda is 'goofy.' Emotionally still very much an adolescent, Sauda is to nearly all who meet her the feline equivalent of 'ditzy blonde.' Though a bit flighty and gossipy, and certainly not the brightest to talk to, she is generally very easy to get along with. Oftentimes she seems to put her foot in her mouth, though she rarely seems to notice such a feat.
In truth, this incredible ditziness is about equal parts personality and act. Though very naturally silly (nearly to the point of being cub-like) and personable and occasionally a bit dim, Sauda usually knows how to put two and two together in such a way as to get whatever number suits her best. Most cases, her foot-mouth insertion is intentional, and serves far better to incite arguments among others than animosity towards her.
On the subject of her mate, Sauda is indescribably affectionate, honestly in love with the lion. She's not oblivious to his infidelity, but rather chooses to ignore or forgive Bijan's "amorous nature." As the two are often separate for long periods of time when infiltrating other groups, she is more willing to write his trysts off in this way, or to see it as a fair redouble for the fact that she often finds herself (understandably) come upon by one of the sheikhs of the pride she inserts herself into.

Skills and Weaknesses
Due to her apparent airheadedness, Sauda finds it extremely easy to feign innocent confusion or complete lack of understanding whenever the occasion calls for it, no matter how well she truly understands the subject. She is decently skilled at stealth, and could probably hold her own in a fight, both thanks to the seriousness with which she viewed play-fighting as a cub. Given the choice between fight or flight, however, she would invariably choose flight, as she is fairly speedy at a run but has no real experience in a true fight. Despite her fairly well-muscled structure, she is a poor hunter, as she followed on only a handful of hunts before leaving her pride, and never experienced the rite of passage of leading a hunt. Her relative ease in caring for a pride's cubs (being more able to relate to them than other adults of the pride) saves her from uselessness in this respect.
Goals
Ever the overgrown child, Sauda holds few long-term goals beyond comfort and merriment. Given that she comes across as trustworthy (even a bit naïve) and holds the ability to find amusement in nearly anything, these aren't difficult tasks to accomplish.
Physical Appearance
Sauda is rather heavy for a female of her size, due mostly to bulk of muscle (though slightly due to some fatty bulk around her belly). She makes up for this by being relatively light-footed in her step.
Also considerably scruffier than many adult lions, Sauda has a relatively fuzzy pelt and a somewhat dusky coloration. Her overall coloring is a warm tan, a few shades lighter than butterscotch. Her other dominant color falls somewhere between sand and cream, and colors her stomach, chest, inside patches of her legs, toes, muzzle, chin, the fuzzy scruff upon her cheeks, and a pair of spots (one medium-sized and nearly circular, the other very small) above each eye. The dusty-soft hot cocoa color that encircles her eyes also covers her ears and colors her tail tuft. Her nose and paw pads are a color more exactly like hot chocolate and therefore a few shades darker than the last.
Trivia
- Sauda is infertile due to a birth defect. Though she and Bijan have made the attempt, the pair has never produced a litter together.
